I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1966 AMC Rambler Classic Station Wagon.

"Needs TLC to be a daily driver $6,800," writes the seller. 

 

The scarcest cars are scarce because no one saved them.

While people were appreciating the more glamorous models,

these have, unnoticed, receded into history until few remain.

 

Notice how even the owner fails to recognize this wagon's

rarity--thinking someone may use it as a "daily driver!"

Why wear out the rare ones and preserve cars that you can

see at every show?

 

Once-rare cars have become common in collector circles,

and once-routine cars have become rare.  This is a perfect example!

For some unfathomable reason I really like this car. The mellow color, economical drivetrain, and practical design. For me far more desirable than a suburban or van type vehicle. 

Hope whoever ends up with this enjoys it for a long time.
