DPW
Curious if anyone knows how difficult it is to replace several dash lights in a 1960 Buick Invicta? Thanks Dennis
EmTee
Hopefully @avgwarhawk, @60FlatTop or @parkertom will chime-in with an answer to this question.
60FlatTop
Pretty hard to read anything but the speedometer even in the daylight. Mine have always been dim but I never really needed them.
DPW
Ok there are couple that are out, parking break, turn signal, wondering how difficult it might be to replace them before I got started. Thanks

60FlatTop
I bought my car in 2002. Let me know how it works out. If it's not bad I'll do mine. Maybe. May be taking my seat out soon for new carpets and some upholstery work. I could poke around then. Whatever, I will not be putting LED's in if I get too the sockets. avgwarhawk
I have not needed to replace the lights in the dash. I would think the cover over the mirror would need to be remove to get at the dash face.
Oldtech
If you lie on your back with your feet on the headrest and your head on the brake pedal you may be able to get your skinny arm up behind it and feel the light sockets which just turn about an eighth of a turn and come out with the light in them. Otherwise the cluster must be removed. Doesn't look real difficult.
parkertom
The Chassis Service Manual provides instructions for removing the upper instrument panel and then the instrument cluster to replace bulbs. Doesn’t look too difficult and probably a little easier than going in from underneath.
