Twisted Shifter
Photo could be from the 1920's or 1930's, but I think the pedal car might pre-date WWI.
Dosmo
By no means am I any kind of expert, but the badge on the front looks sort of like a Willys-Overland automobile badge from that period. American National, one of the more popular manufacturers of pedal cars, clearly was inspired by Overland's badge. Perhaps it's the Toledo, OH connection that brings them together. That said, no guarantee this pedal car is a Whippet model, as they used a lot of other car company names on their various offerings.

Terry Bond
What a great topic for a separate thread someplace on the forum. Would love to see more old photos of kids enjoying their pedal cars! Wonder how many of them grew up to become antique auto enthusiasts? Terry
