AJHooton
I've recently purchased a 1965 Riviera and want to adjust the clamshell assembly due to binding. I have the headlight visor manual but can't seem to find a way to remove the headlamp assembly. I can remove the 3 lower bolts but can't seem to find a way to get to the top two bolts. Then . . . once I do find them, I need to be able to replace them when the adjustments are finished. Any help would be appreciated.
RIVNIK
I don't have the thing in front of me, but I have removed & reinstalled the headlight assembly on my '65 several times w no problems. To the best of my recollection I remove the lamps themselves first which gives better access to the upper bolts. Hopefully someone w more recent experience will chime in to correct or affirm this.
