Quick update.....

 

I now have the new fuel tank back from Corey Durman and have completed installation. I could not be happier with the quality of the work. The tank is painted black per period advertising (was red). I also took the opportunity to have the front apron painted black (was red), matching period advertising and photos. I would highly recommend Corey to anyone needing sheet metal work (replacement or restoration). You can PM me if you would like his details.

Thanks for posting. 

The tank looks GREAT. The paint is so good you could use it as a mirror to shave in. 

I hope you have a wonderful summer driving the car.
