Pat Curran
I am in the process of reading the book “Four Miles West of Nowhere” by one of my favorite automotive authors, John Phillips. He semi-retired to remote Darby, Montana a few years ago. He had the privilege to tour a private 100+ car collection owned by a wealthy recluse (no name mentioned) spread over 3 buildings. In one of the buildings were “seven original Buick Rivieras.” Just curious if any member knows of this collection?

Were they all '63 and up Rivieras, or were some earlier 'pillarless hardtop' Buicks?
Pat Curran
No further details. That is all that was in the book. My interpretation would be that they are all 1963’s but I don’t know for sure.
RivNut
In my vernacular, “original” would mean nothing missing or modified - any year.

In the vernacular, I agree with you Ed. However, in this particular case and after reading John Phillips articles and books for 30+ years, I am sticking with my original assessment.
dr914
I would like to see them as original paint low low mile cars. (63 64 65 of course!) Would be worth finding out
