Try TCParts.com on the internet. I needed several of these parts and they had them. Not cheap, but available.

So which one was it?

There a 8 of these on the TC.  They are commonly referred to as 'end caps' as they cap off the stainless steel on the belt molding line of the car.  Of the 8, there are 6 different.  The two that are on the belt molding where the door meets the jam, they are inter changeable from side to side.  The passenger door is the same as the driver jam and conversely, the driver door is the same as the passenger jam.  They did make 2 versions of the end cap that go on the tonneau but either one works.  One is longer that the other.  The last picture is the end cap that goes on the jam on the passenger side or the door on the driver side.
