SOLD: 1930s-1950s Era Ivalite Dash Controlled Spotlight With Mounting Bracket and Cable Control Assembly

This is a neat vintage spot light. I think it might be for a commercial vehicle or possibly marine, but it could be used for a variety of applications. The tag on the top of the light reads "Ivalite Dash Controlled Deluxe Spotlight, Warsaw, Indiana".

 

The light itself measures about 6 3/4" in diameter and is about 5 3/4" deep. From the bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the light is about 14". The cable from the control knob to the base of the light bracket is about 44" long.

 

When the original bakelite knob is turned, the light turns to the left and right as it should. The light is adjustable on the bracket so it can be appropriately aimed. This does not appear to have been used much. The chrome is in very nice original condition and could possibly polish up to be nicer. The lens and reflector are nice, bright and clear. 

 

A neat light for a speedster, custom, commercial vehicle, etc.
