Unknown Steering Wheel

I'm looking to identify the year of this steering wheel. It has a metal core and four spiders with a red hard rubber surface with longitudinal lines cut in it around the circumference. There's not much of it left but I'm trying to nail down an approximate year. It was removed from its original source and is now on something else.

Early Model A Ford ?  Massey Ferguson ?  Can you get a photo of the wheel and a diameter ?

That looks just like an old garden hose I found in the grass. Pan out so we can see what you are describing.

There is nothing to see if I pan out. The steering wheel I am trying to identify has had the spider cut out of the center, most of the rubber coating has cracked and fallen off, and all that's left is a rusty steel ring of about 17" diameter. I was hoping someone would recognize the color and pattern on the remaining rubber so I could nail down an approximate year.

I believe this is correct and thankyou very much. Looking online, most are black; this pink color looks to be an anomaly. What is the uniqueness of this color?

Early 1928 Ford 'A's had red steering wheels which were more like pink after a while. Later in 1928 production year the company went to black.
