SIPLOWGUY
Would a 1962 Chrysler Newport convertible have come from the factory with material seating surfaces?
SIPLOWGUY
This is the interior in question.
plymouthcranbrook
I’ve never seen anything like that on any Mopar I have ever seen. Of course, I have not seen all of them.
JACK M
Those do not look correct. I suspect they should be vinyl in the Newport, maybe leather on the upper models.
The 55er
Not an expert but I don't think the seat material, the pattern of the upholstery, or even the entire seat is correct for a 1962 Newport convertible. If the seat was original to the car the seatback on the driver side would extend higher than the seatback on the passenger side. I don't think the center fold down armrest should be there either.
