Fossil
Seems like a lot of cars are trying to move into the $20,000 dollar range.
Aaron65
Neat car, probably a touch overpriced...but why did someone add those fender emblems? That alone will likely turn off a serious buyer who appreciates originality.
63RedBrier
The fender emblems may have been part of the Principality of Monaco "package."
TAKerry
I like these, the Monaco editions pop up every now and then. I suppose they were used sparingly when new with the thought of it being future collectible.

deac
Seems like if you are into T-birds this would be the one to have. Evidently these have been tossed aside by collectors going by the price. I do like them and this one pretty nice. I would think this edition would fetch 30 to 35 grand but the market says otherwise. I hope this car goes to a good home.
kingrudy
I have never seen the 390 Thunderbird emblems on a thunderbird. I believe that the 390 was standard on the '63 Thunderbird, so there would be no reason for Ford to put them on.

If you are into 1963 Thunderbirds the one to have is the Roadster (model 76B) . After that it is the convertible (model 76A) that you can change to look like a roadster. After that, everything is "just a hardtop". . . . . These Monaco cars might even be a little LESS attractive to collectors than a hardtop or Landau, because they are all the same identical colors. If you have seen one, you have seen them all. 23 hours ago, kingrudy said: I have never seen the 390 Thunderbird emblems on a thunderbird. (390+) It was stamped in the valve cover. This car has two incorrect emblems on the front fenders. It is a nice car, why do people always think that the can make it better? Note that the Roadster did have a "V" type emblem on the fender but it did not ID the engine. That it's considered overpriced at $20k is hard for me to believe, but that seems to be the reality of the market. Or maybe it's not as impressive in person, at least as far as condition goes. Too bad it isn't closer to where I live (or maybe that's a good thing!)
