lump
Loved the whisker stripes down the doors, which were unique to 68. Pretty car, for sure.
TAKerry
Was Guy Fieri in the kitchen? LOL Nice looking car. I really like the 67/8 camaros, hate to say but better than the firebird counterparts. Not that I would turn either one down. 1

pkhammer
I work with a guy that has a '68 ss hardtop with that exact paint scheme. He bought it new. He still works full time at 80. I keep asking him "J (he goes by the initial J), when are you going to sell me that Camaro? I'll give you $5,000 for it which I know is double what you paid!". He just grins at me. He also still has his '73 Kawasaki Z1 900 that he bought new too, and still rides it to work sometimes in the summer.
Swear57
I just acquired a 67 Camaro RS SS convertible. It was torn apart back in 1980 the last year it was licensed. The engine and transmission were stolen out of the storage shed about a year ago It had a small block and 4 speed, painted Marina blue. I plan on putting it back together this fall & winter. I have no idea how many parts are missing.
TAKerry
Swear, keep us posted on the camaro. When I was in 10th grade I wanted to buy a 67 rs/ss convertible. It was in pristine original condition. White with a gold nose stripe. At the time it was just a 13 yo used car. Guy wanted $2500, I had about $1500 saved up and wanted to borrow the rest from dad. He said a used car that old wasnt worth that much.

34CR12
Very nice!! I have to wonder tho, is this what it looked like, colors, grill, wheels, options, trim, etc, as it rolled off the factory assembly line ?
