On 6/27, Seller reduced price to $8,500 and relisted

On 7/9, Seller reduced price to $5,900 and relisted

Hello I am selling my 1956 Buick Century 322 fireball v8 automatic transmission car needs Restoretion but in pretty decent shape passenger floorboard has rust Motor starts can’t keep it to stay started but it starts right up no problem Decent bodywork decent paint decent interior pretty cool car definitely a head turner I got it parked outside and 10 people stop a day just to give me thumbs up fully equipped with options
Back in 1956 I guess they wanted to have all the bells and whistle‘s and they did it’s a pretty cool car if you know you know if you want to see it or call for more information please serious car buyers only cash in hand no time waster is no tire kickers need to sell thanks

1956 Buicks have graceful styling, and colors

can spectacularly enhance that styling.

 

That said, this car in all white, with a somber

white-and-gray interior, must be the plainest

1956 Buick that one could order!

What a missed opportunity, in my opinion.

A/C was not a common option until the mid 60's and that was on finer cars. Regular Chevys and Fords didn't routinely get air until the '70's. My '56 and '57 Caddies had power windows that I fixed, but I'd just as soon have manual windows on an old car. Two tone paint would be the way to go with this car.

The dash, and door cards and rear quarter badging (looks like 4 barrell carb also) certainly denote a Century model but the front fenders appear to have been replaced with Special fenders (3 ports rather than 4). Perhaps given the rocker and door area, I presume the fenders were replaced due to rust.
