Hello folks,

i did some searching but couldn't find anything on deciphering some of what the hole punches mean on the build record for my 1936 tudor sedan. Any info on what the color was from the punch out means and other sections is greatly appreciated! Looks like it was sent to Boston Mass and stayed in New England its whole life as i bought it in Maine. Still has an old Mass reg sticker on the windshield which is cool! E5D7216F-65A2-4844-8EE5-4CBB4B85BD2C.png.d9b4345fe49bfd68ae3fe44059e03ec4.png

Thanks in advance! And Danielle S was so polite and amazing as we chatted back and forth a lot due to Covid and being shut down. This record is a couple years in the making but got it today and photo is so easy to read!!

From my experience, the whole punches were done at a much later date, someone tried to get the data off the cards and "scantron" them into a computer. Note how all numbers "4" wholes are at the same distance down on the card

The number above each option, tells you how many of them were added to your car.

For example, 1 over the option Lighter, means they added that option.

Danielle should have included in your envelope a sales sheet, that lists options for that year and model, if she has it.

You can then cross reference your options to the sales sheet options.

Ref. the color, I have yet to be able to decode that.

Thank you Alan for the information! What I posted is all I received from Danielle. I can ask her when i respond back to her.

the hole punches are interesting, was thinking the holes corresponded to the small numbers in the center of the card but don't know what those numbers mean. I will keep investigating it, thanks again for the info!
