Does anyone know what make and vintage the trailer is shown on the attached photo?  The 1941 Buick is mine. The car towed the trailer in the 1940’s or 1950’s in upstate New York. The owner was a medical doctor and he and his nurse daughter(shown in the photo) rendered medical advice in small towns. The trailer was their exam room.

Looks like it may be a Pierce Arrow travel trailer by the angles on the ends.

Sorry, John, it's not a Pierce-Arrow Travelodge.  The Travelodges came in three lengths (Model A = 19 ft "can", B = 16.5 ft, C = 13.5 ft), all with two wheels but no axle due to independent suspension.  Here's a photo of my Model A, but Bs and Cs have the same window shape.  The aluminum door on mine is VERY wrong.

Is that some sort of dolly on the front of the trailer?

Seems like I recall something similar on the "Long long trailer" or some other movie.

This pic isn't what I was looking for.

They were common back in the day from 1935-1955 not sure if they helped, or even if they were a good idea. Many worked like a knee action shock with springs and a dampener.  I have seen a few over the years.....none going down the road.

There were a few of those cars that were ordered with all "blond" wood. Looks like your car might have been one of them. I would love to see a current photo of your car. Thanks.
