Shootey
Does anyone know what make and vintage the trailer is shown on the attached photo? The 1941 Buick is mine. The car towed the trailer in the 1940’s or 1950’s in upstate New York. The owner was a medical doctor and he and his nurse daughter(shown in the photo) rendered medical advice in small towns. The trailer was their exam room.

Sorry, John, it's not a Pierce-Arrow Travelodge. The Travelodges came in three lengths (Model A = 19 ft "can", B = 16.5 ft, C = 13.5 ft), all with two wheels but no axle due to independent suspension. Here's a photo of my Model A, but Bs and Cs have the same window shape. The aluminum door on mine is VERY wrong.
edinmass
The trailer is a Covered Wagon of about 1937.
JACK M
Is that some sort of dolly on the front of the trailer? Seems like I recall something similar on the "Long long trailer" or some other movie. This pic isn't what I was looking for.
edinmass
They were common back in the day from 1935-1955 not sure if they helped, or even if they were a good idea. Many worked like a knee action shock with springs and a dampener. I have seen a few over the years.....none going down the road.

I would love to see a current photo of your car. Thanks.
West Peterson
Like this one that was used in the movie Now, Voyager. Although this car also still exists, it was restored with the mahogany-colored inner panels. (Yes, I know it's one year older.)
Shootey
Here is a picture of my car in its current state. It is not blond I am aware of a blond one owned by a gentleman in Maryland.
Shootey
The trailer behind my woodie appears to be a Glider, circa 1940. See Glider ad attached.
