Aussie Dodge
Hi fellow restorers, after a number of years I have finally reached the point of preparing for the roof installation on my 1926 Dodge Tourer. But I have run into a problem in sourcing, or remanufacturing the 2 strap clamps that attach to the tourer rear tub. Appreciating any assistance anyone can offer in advising the size and or dimension of the roof strap and in particular the associated strap clamp. The photo below is the only information I have. The clamp as can be seen is only partly in view as the top iron frame shadows the clamp.
Ron Lawson
I made my own for my 28 DB Senior Tourer These are for the strap that goes from the body to the rear hood bow NOT all the way to the front bow
Aussie Dodge
Thanks Ron, this helps to put things into perspective. The attached photo I found on the web is the only information I have. Do you have any dimensions of the clamp bracket you can share? or a photo, so that I can get an idea of the physical size. Regards Aussie Dodge/
Mattml430
Try a search of DBracer on eBay. He quite often has the hood clamps for sale. If you send him a message he might have the correct set or something very close.
