For Sale: 1942 Ford COE stake-bed truck

Recommended Posts

Fun and Unique. Very rare 1942 model. We were told that this Ford COE started out as a Pepsi-Cola bottle delivery truck in the east... Philadelphia, I believe. My father bought it about 10 years ago, cab/chassis only, with the intent of using it as a truck to haul one-cylinder cars to shows in Minnesota. That never materialized, but a stake-bed/flat bed was procured and never fully attached. New tires, brakes, engine tuned-up and runs well. A 1941 two-speed differential was installed, but the mechanism/bracketry to operate while included, has not been hooked up. Four-speed with reverse; 101-inch wheelbase.

The truck is now with me in Dayton, Ohio, and has been titled and licensed in my name.

$25,000
