8E45E
I hope you took some of these Swap Meet vendors' cards/contact information. I see lots of items that may be of interest to some in North America who are currently restoring a European car, and might be searching for some parts seen in your photos that are not so easy to come by here. TAKerry
Sebastion, Again, thanks for the photos. Its nice to see what the car culture is in other places around the world. It appears what you have in your area is not so different than what we have here, only the language and cars are different. Very similar to a trip to a local swap meet. I would feel very much at home cruising around the fairground looking for parts. 1

I have never been to a car show in America, and I would love to come to America one day to see an American car show . wayne sheldon
That is a large show with something for almost all automotive interests, including old tractors! I particularly like the earlier cars, so thank you for adding those in. However, I also find the many European automobiles of the 1950s and 1960s very interesting. We see so few of those around here. The European cars then tended to be smaller and more early styled than the big "boats" and "tanks" American companies made in those days. Really wonderful stuff!

Hello and thank you It is true that in Europe the cars are small and have a whole different style , but personally I prefer American cars which have a really superb style, with great research for each finish, spacious, very optional, is very ahead for their time, American cars are really futuristic compared to European, they were really ahead! Each car from each country is charming

Walt G
Your photographs are very interesting. Most all of cars I have never seen in person. A bit newer in vintage than what I like but none the less I really appreciate seeing. My taste in cars runs pre WWII and to cars that even when new were very low production . I love the enormous Renault 45 hp and their later "relatives" the 'Stella' series of cars ( Reinastella, Nervastella, Vivastella, and Monastella. For many decades I have tried to collect sales literature , photographs, etc on the larger Vivastella and Reinastella cars . I have a fair but small amount of original period sales items as well as an instruction book ( that is like a small dictionary) for the Reinastella. Most USA collectors do not know what these were, BUT a few were imported into the USA when new - purchased on trips to Europe by wealthy clientele and then brought back on the steam ships/ocean liners with the new owners. Renault had a selling branch in New York City. There were "foreign " car repair shops for mechanical work in the city , plus machine shops to repair and make parts . Van Cura machine in Long Island City just east of the Queensboro Bridge was one.
KVP
Thanks for sharing the show pictures. 🙂 I appreciate the pictures of the tractors, as I am a tractor collector myself. Hello and thank you for your message I didn't know that these Renault models were known in America I also like the "Stella" series, it was a very nice car. The Reinastella is impressive because of its length and its luxury , and I also really like the Vivastella with its grille which looks like an American car grille (Ford, ...) We don't see many of these models in France, the last time I saw a Renault Celtaquatre from the 1930s which is also a beautiful car And a friend (who is 75 years old) who is in my village has a 1924 Ford T which belonged to his father at the time. This Ford has always been in this city . At this sale of parts where I posted photos there may be documentation on it's Renault

There are clubs of people who collect tractors and every year they exhibit their tractors in several places. Willys Interlagos - Losange Magazine issue 4 winter 2018 Craig I didn't know, thanks for the info I just looked on the internet and it looks like an Alpine but slightly modified What is strange on the links of this manual is that on the 3rd page they show different Renault models, but here in France the Renault Sandero RS does not exist, the Sandero model is actually a Dacia ( under Renault brand) It's a Dacia Sandero RS. And the Renault Kwid does not exist in France either. This is a Dacia Spring. Dacia was bought by Renault, and Dacia is a low-end brand with no options (no electric windows, no car radio, etc.), and each "option" must be ordered when purchasing the vehicle. Dacia wants to sell new cars for only €12,000 (approximately) Edited June 4, 2022 by sebastienbuick (see edit history)
