ashland
What is the correct spark plug number for a 1928 buick model 24? (roadster-standard 207 engine) I have AC C77L in the engine now.
dibarlaw
If you can clean and keep these AC C77L it would be best. The only AC style replacements are Motorcraft 3076s and they are of a shorter reach. Even these 77L plugs may have longer electrode /body and top connector than original. (Early style plugs were shorter.) They will need a connector boot or other insulation to live under the factory spark plug cover. I know the AC TITAN No. SAEL (S.A.E. Long) was what was original equipment for my 1925 Buicks. Later designations were AC 77.
