bluetaxi
Studebaker parts for WHAT?This is a pre-war forum, but still, Studebaker made a lot of different years and models before WWII!
Mark Huston
It is funny how people dont seem to know that Studebakers were built from 1902 to 1966. That means that there are 40 years of car production BEFORE WWII, and only 20 years of auto production after the war. But for some reason they don't seem to know that the pre war cars even exist, for those folks it has to be a Lark or a Hawk to be a Studebaker.
bluetaxi
Amen!...and some of Dietrich's car designs that Studebaker contracted for were just as elegant and beautiful as those contracted of Loewy's...
Mark Huston
I would much rather have a well styled big Studebaker of the late 20's to mid thirties over any of the small econo-boxes built durring the last gasp of Studebaker in the late 50's and 60's. The styling of the those "classic" years is so much better, and cars more enjoyable to drive. And yes, I have in the past owned Studebakers of the 50's, I don't now.
