Mice, Battery Acid and time... '67 Radiator Support and LH Inner Fender wanted

Between the mice and years of spilled battery acid, the battery tray on my '67 is completely rusted out. To do it right, I need to replace the radiator core support, driver's inner fender and the connecting bracket. Yes... it really is that bad.

As if I was going to find the parts via a part number search, I went ahead and looked them up anyway. Lol!

1380992 Radiator Support

1373313 Support Bracket

Any ideas on where I might find some mice/battery acid free parts? Probably going to have to go south to find 'em. Anyone have experience with CTC auto ranch outside of Ft. Worth?

Thanks for any leads!

Cheers,

Rod

I wish I had better news but those parts have been in high demand for 30+ years so anything left in a salvage yard is likely to be in similar condition. I remember paying to have those items shipped from Colorado to PA in the 90s as they were scarce then. If you do find them rust free, chances are they will be very expensive.

How bad is yours? The rad support, and inner fender can be rebuilt if its not totally gone. Its not a high visible area so it doesn't have to look perfect. The worst problem is if the rad support mount is rotted away and many are. Anyway, I'd look "seriously" at the possibility of rebuilding what you have.

Thanks Jason. I was thinking that I might have a hard time sourcing them - I assume most have battery acid decay like mine. A few years ago, in desperation and before having a parts book, I bought a '68 inner fender (shipped from CA to IL) knowing that it probably won't fit, but it has a perfectly intact battery tray which I might transplant as I assume the tray itself is the same. The radiator support is pretty far gone in the battery area, but I can manage to fabricate something if it comes to that. If anyone has a picture of that area in decent condition it would be really helpful for fabricating something as close to original as possible.

Here's what I'm dealing with. The mount seems to be on the edge of salvageable, but the overall condition of the area is frightening. There's nothing left of the tray itself. 🤪
