1941? Jack & stand or earlier?

Need help with ID on this wobbly looking jack and stand? Don't know if Buick or other, but have seen some awfully unsafe looking 39&40s, so I thought this might be another earlier example of 'suicide' highway shoulder equipment from the 'locked' engineering 'ward' at Buick division of GM back in the day! Any help with positive ID appreciated! THANX, GregJ

Here is a photo of my 1941 jack stand and accessories. I believe it to be correct for 1941; but I did buy it separate from the car. All other photos I have seen, and the manual indicate that it is a '41.

THANX for the photos! I think the stand looks 1941, but don't recognize what the jack itself is. More research.

THANX for posting the photo. It looks the same except the angled top on yours is cast instead of stamped steel. Early/late production thing, hmmm, more research.
