Steve_Mack_CT
Very nice. These are impressive cars and usually pretty popular at the shows.
JamesR
Nice paint! I may be unusual, but I like these '48's (and earlier) a little better than the '49's. The side "fender" contours make them more stylish, IMO, but I really like the '49's, too. I don't think Buick made a bad looking car (until recent times.)

Steve_Mack_CT
Good point adding text to the ad John. Didn't follow link to ad as I am not a player for this car now but would have thpught it was running. A bit less appealling - sti cosmetics are nice, an offer reflecting taking a chance and assuming some sorting should still get a nice car unless something more is wrong with it. Yes Steve, I am home recovering from COVID (GRRRR...) and did this on my phone, and thought I'd cut and pasted the sellers write up. It has a nice looking presentation, but "not running" means the buyer is gong to take their chances. I have that Buick straight 8 in my 52 Super. A great engine. Perhaps it is as simple as ignition/fuel issues. With an offer that reflects the risk to the buyer, it looks like a nice car. I love the older Buicks.
Steve_Mack_CT
Hope you recover fast John! Neighbor just had it second time around, I guess virtually no symptoms but he is an MD in a nursing home system so they test all the time. Had all the boosters, etc. Him, "I am fine, it's basically a forced vacation" Me "good for you, stay over on your side for now!" 😁😁😁 I could see a Buick as a great tour car, big and powerful enough. Not too expensive to buy a good one and a ready market at sale time. Working it's way up the want list, and I love these years like @JamesR noted above as well. Leif in Calif
These Buicks are "post war exuberance" at it's best! Big, Bold, Every Inch American!
