Leif in Calif Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Don't blame me for the spelling! I copied it just as the automotive marketing professional wrote it! edinmass Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 When they were done with the cans of blue spray paint, they installed the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. Looks like I did the Uphostery while I was in the bar drinking Crown Royal by the quart. 2 6
auburnseeker Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 for a second I thought the sign in the background said drunk. That's the way I feel after looking at the photos for too long.
edinmass Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 If you think the car is blue, buy it, you’ll be singing the blues like Howlin’ Wolf! Muddy Waters! B B King, and my favorite singer of the blues……… Blind Mellon Chitlen when he sings his most famous song………I got they can’t get no xxxx on blues!
edinmass Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Cheech and Chong. Look up Blind Melon Chitlin on YouTube. The name of this song is highly entertaining, and it cannot be mentioned here. 1
Brooklyn Beer Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Is the 2 x 4 holding up the passenger cowl factory ?

Joe Cocuzza Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I would have been interested in this one but what really turned me away was that it didn't have a BLUE top !!!!!🤡🤡🤡
Mark Huston Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Someone really loved blue when they supposedly restored this car. What is wrong with the Chrysler’s top? It almost looks like it is incorrect for this Chrysler.
Leif in Calif Posted May 10, 2022 Author Posted May 10, 2022 The sad part is a '29 model 75 like this could be smashing!
JACK M Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I asked about this car once. I seem to recall that it needed some work to be roadable. I don't recall just what it was but it sure is blue.
Gearheadengineer Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Basically a car that needs everything, priced as if it doesn’t. What could possibly go wrong? It’s a shame because it’s a great body style. Confession: when I saw the dealer sign, I read it as “Drunk.” Which would maybe explain the asking price.

The engine looks to be an early '28 model ie series 62 or 72, the give away is exhaust existing via the rear, not front, also the generator is timing chain driven from the right side, not fan belt driven on the left side; And what's going on with the fan belt and additional pulley on the right side of the engine? I don't mind the blue combo, the black roof doesn't match though.
John_Mereness Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Wow, that is visually challenging matched to needing a lot of work
