Leif in Calif
Certainly looks nice in the pictures! (but they need a little more work in the engine compartment) https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/chino-hills-grandpas-1941-model-63/7479297801.html In the family for the last 37 years. After inheriting several years ago I had to make the decision as how I wanted to finish the restoration, whether to keep original or change the powertrain and braking system. I opted to keep the car as original as possible. So recent work includes...New paint and interiorNew tiresRecent oil changeNew brake lines and master cylinderRecent carb rebuildRecent fuel system flushRecent cooling system flushNew batteryThe car starts, runs and drives as it should. The engine and transmission operate smooth and quietly.Title is clean, registration was just put into Non-Op after making the decision to sell. This model is the rare LaSalle 63 with just over 5K being produced. There are a few things left to finish on the car, mostly cosmetic and can be discussed with a phone call. So if interested, please CALL, no texts or emails as I hardly ever check them. Thank you, (213) 923-0092

suchan
Sharp car. Seller would have a better chance of getting an offer anywhere near asking if the engine bay was tidied up. Not sure about engine color, either. Attached is a photo of the proposed 1941 LaSalle before it morphed into the Cadillac model 63.
Matt Harwood
Actually, the fastback Series 61s were the proposed 1941 LaSalle. The 63 was a weird anomaly that kind of looks like a fastback but has a bit of a hump and the upscale trim from the 60 Special. Similar looking but not the same: Series 61: Series 63: 2
