upper left side of pic on fender.  What is the device that looks like it is missing 2 hoses?  wiper fluid pump ?

10 more horsepower. Nothing turns me off more than to see an original car engine with a chrome aftermarket aircleaner or a freakin Edelbrock carb. Hey, I'm too stupid to rebuild the original carb or send it out to have it done so I'll slap on an Edelbrock.

Think it may be the heater valve. Not 100% but my guess
