Help with Part Identification

[1950DELIVERY]

Hello ALL,

 

I'm new here and hoping you all can help identify a part for me. I have a 1950 Chevy Sedan Delivery project that has been on hold for a long time and I'm just now able to get back at it. However...I am not the most organized fellow and I have a parts that I cannot remember what they are for and where they go....most of them I have figured out or easily remember after looking a few times. I have this particular part that I am struggling to identify. I have searched extensively online and in other forums with no luck. I have access to all the usual sources (Oldcarmanualproject) and a few others...still no luck. If anyone here can help I would very much appreciate it.

 

It's a Bracket of sorts...I think it goes on the body somewhere..? Not sure.? Stupid I know...but for the life of me I cannot remember where this goes. I have 4 of these...But I think 2 are simply extras.
