Headliner has a ton of mice (or some other critter) crap/nests in it. It will be a mess when taken down.

Paint and interior do not look original - but I could be wrong

Original or not on the paint,  that chrome all looks really nice and that steering wheel is excellent.  If you were doing a woody or a convertible,  It's almost worth the 8 grand for parts at what a wheel and chrome go for these days.

Yes, hubcaps are a poor choice but an easy fix.

I agree that this car is more positive than negative. It would be hard to find an old car more visually striking than this one, whatever its imperfections may be. Going only off of the pics it looks solid and promising.  Pest problems are unpleasant to deal with, though. I'd go look at it if it was closer.
