gb85
Hi guys I have been looking for some time for a convertible top bow assembly for a 1948 Chev Fleetmaster cabriolet. I recently came across a 1948 Buick Roadmaster Convertible top bow fitting which looks the same. I have been told that most GM cars of this era shared the same parts. Does anyone know if this is true and if the Buick top bow assembly would fit on the 1948 Chev Fleetmaster cabriolet? Thanks
auburnseeker
I don't know for sure, but the roadmaster was the big series Buick possibly shared with Caddy or the big Olds though 48 saw a new body style for both of those I believe so maybe shared with the 47's. Seems there could be a size issue as the Super and Special size cars would more match the Chevy body size. Not positive. Could you measure? Seems like it shouldn't be that hard to measure.
