Leif in Calif
If I were selling a car, I wouldn't leave the starting fluid in the picture! $10K https://merced.craigslist.org/cto/d/atwater-1926-ford-model-tt/7465447699.html# This is a 1926 Ford Model TT truck. The body is straight and the wooden cab and box have been rebuilt. It runs, but rough, could be the carburetor needs cleaned. Comes with horesless carriage plates. Everything is in perfect shape, other then the rough running. Call or Text Jo at (209) 620-1766
Terry Harper
The paper indicates it attended an ATHS (American Truck Historical Society) event. And yes, the can of starter fluid is not a good advertising prop. Anytime I see a can of that crap around an antique engine I want to throw it as far as possible. It might be just me but I hold it in the same contempt as JB Weld, silicon gasket crap, duct tape and I will throw in 6 volt to 12 volt conversions just for good measure. Is that funky dash panel original? Otherwise I like it.
Leif in Calif
I agree...Duct Tape is only an appropriate repair on post WWII vehicles. 1
