Here's a well-written softcover book from 1977 that presents a narrative of convertible history supplemented with numerous illustrations and ad reprints, and includes advice on purchasing and maintenance.   Written by Robert Weider and George Hall, published by Doubleday Dolphin, has 142 pages.  The book is in very nice lightly used condition with a crease on the top right corner of the front cover that lays down flat (visible in photo).
