kar3516
Not mine...beautiful lines - Lincoln should have built this car. Seller / fabricator might want to finish those door panels... https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=1937 Seller’s contact email: 55d1bbb730243651b742b99db3b1ab0f@sale.craigslist.org Per current Craigslist seller: “1937 zephyr, custom roadster. Has Carson top, flathead V8, stock suspension.” Per 2020 eBay ad: “1937 lincoln zephyr custom roadster. Car started as a rust free 4 Door sedan as no zephyr roadsters were ever made. Top is chopped a couple inches and has a padded Carson style top that is removable. Flathead V8 with 3speed and Columbia 2 speed rear axle. Car is static lowered with just a few leafs removed to get the stance lower.”
1957Birdman
Price seems slightly optimistic given the overall condition of the car. I'm not sure what a car like this would go for but I think $52K just isn't it. Lew Bachman 1957 Thunderbird
Leif in Calif
I think the price might be about right once it's finished!
58L-Y8
By the metalwork on the upper body and the fact they started with a four-door sedan (H-730), I'd opine this custom was done by one of the better early custom shops like Coachcraft during the late 1930's-early 1940's. George Smolinski
Pretty much everything about the car is cool except that fugly top.

Hmm...I had not considered that the custom work was completed in the vintage era; I just assumed that work was recently completed by a shop that used the faded blue paint over black to simulate patina of an older custom. Definitely carrying on in tradition of Coachcraft, Bohman and Schwartz as well as other 1930's-1950's customizing shops.
