Nice car! 1960 Fleetwoods aren't seen very often, but those I have seen have ALL had vinyl tops. It may not have been an option, but rather a standard feature on that model. Here is the same model in blue, seen in the Hershey car corral in 2014. It could have been bought for around $20,000:
58L-Y8
The vinyl top covering was standard for 1960 on the Fleetwood Sixty Special four door hardtop and the Eldorado Seville two door hardtop. Those heavy, cast, finned wheel covers were specific to the Sixty Special, Eldorado Biarritz and Seville. 1
TAKerry
Great looking car but Im not sure about the black. Looks like it should be following a hearse or ................... The blue one is beautiful!
58L-Y8
I just noticed the black one has had Eldorado Biarritz and Seville trim added to the standard Sixty Special trim. There were no other four door models that had those thin extra strips running above the rocker stainless then circling back forward up to the A-pillar. It looks nice but would have had to been custom-made since there were no factory such pieces for a four door body.
