TexRiv_63
I'm looking for information on this emblem and the car it represented. The Standard Catalog of American Cars says it was a 1920 export version of the Owen Magnetic, another source says it was sold in the US under that name after OM disappeared in 1921. No photos or other info have come up. The emblem is 1 5/8" by 2 13/16 with translucent red and white enamel, any information is appreciated. Terry Harper
Very nice find! I believe they were indeed Owen-Magnetic's re-branded for sale in England. Bleach
The badge seems too modern looking for the period. Apparently there was an order for 500 cars in 1920 but Owen Magnetic went into receivership before any cars were delivered. The was one car on display at the 1920 London Motor Show. I doubt any others were built. https://gentlemanindiana.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-owen-magnetic.html https://gaukmotors.co.uk/motorpedia/car-make/owen-magnetic 2
TexRiv_63
This is almost certainly a reproduction but I am trying to determine if there ever was a real car made using this emblem.

This at least confirms that a small number of Crowns were actually built and sold. Now I need a better photo to determine if this type of emblem was actually used on the radiator.
TexRiv_63
Thanks to all who responded to this. I was planning to resell it but with all the doubt involved I think I will keep it in my "fantasy" drawer.
