1953 FORD CONVERTIBLE PACE CAR - $57,500

1953 Ford Crestline Sunliner Convertible with the Indy 500 option is powered by a 239ci Flathead V8 engine backed by a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. It's had one repaint and garaged since new. The Pace Car comes with electric soft-top, Coronado Continental kit, pillar mount search lights, fender skirts, front driving lights and many Pace Car details.
The car has the 50th Anniversary interior details, Gold Anniversary dashboard and correct original colors of White Sungate Ivory and Anniversary Gold. The paint is in good condition as is the chrome. Runs and drives great!

(NOTE: 2000 replica pace cars were built by Ford. Many others were "created" by dealers and individuals. Only Ford produced cars have "SS" for both paint and trim codes. Sales prices have ranged from $40,000 to $60,000 in the last few years)

I don't disagree, but if you were to find a buyer by advertising on CL, how much commission would you save ?

There are usually a small number of cars advertised on our local CL priced from $75K to $150K, but who knows if they ever sell there ?
