zenith1924
What can you tell me about this. I found some advertisements, is it a common item? What is its value. Thanks!

Terry Bond
One of many accessory speedometers available during the early days of the automobile. Until the time manufacturers began installing them as standard equipment if you wanted one it was bought from an auto accessory store or through a catalog. The one shown is not one I'm aware of that came intended for any particular car. It's not one of the more commonly found brands so mounting and drive hardware, swivel joint, etc could very difficult to find if someone wanted to use it in an early car. As a speedo head with attached Veeder trip meter it's more a collectors bookshelf item. I have several different types on display in a showcase in my recreated auto parts store. I don't know of too many people who specifically collect them but it's of interest if you wish to give it a good home. Terry
