Domodude120
I recently pulled a gauge cluster and headlight motor out of a 90-91 Reatta at the junkyard. I’m am confused as how to test them. Edited March 18, 2022 by Domodude120 (see edit history)
Ronnie
Install them in a '90-91 Reatta and see if they work properly.

Barney Eaton
headlight motors are easy to test and the motor itself is seldom bad. Two wires in the connector..... with your battery charger touch ground to one and 12v to the other wire. The motor will turn in one direction.... reversing the wires the motor will run in the opposite direction. The other test.... hold the output shaft and turn the knob on the end of the motor. There should be very little slop or delay in the motor shaft turning.....slop indicates the plastic rollers inside the motor are bad. Also the arm (bellcrank) attached to the output shaft is often badly worn by the steel shaft, try moving the arm, it should not turn more than a few degrees, if it does then the arm need to be replaced. Steel "Barney cranks" solve that problem are warrantied for as long as you own the car.
padgett
That OTC device just looks like a cascade ohms tester, could build one for a few bucks. The K-M CRT Tester is much more complex and goes for about $50 on eBay. OTOH an OTC 2000 with the right cartridge can read any Reatta. ps many GM gauges are 0-1ma and Service Manual has connections/wiring diagrams. Just be gentle
