1962 Buick Electra 4-door hardtop, Louisiana, not mine

I came across this good-looking 1962 Electra

4-door hardtop on Craig's List.  It looks like a 

very nice car, and the $13,500 asking price is within

negotiating range too.  It's said to be in Carencro,

Louisiana and have 58,000 miles.  Such a model is

probably far less common today in nice shape than

people realize:

"For sale is a burgandy 1962 Buick Electra 225 sedan. It runs and drives nice. It has a v8 401 Nailhead motor in it with 445 lbs of tourqe. The paint is very nice and the interior is nice as well.
The car will be available to be seen and sold 13-19 March when I take it out of storage.

Beautiful color symmetry between body and gold interior fabric.  Very nice, and worth it subject to inspection.

In my opinion, the roofline of this 4-door hardtop

is attractive, and makes it as good looking as a 2-door car.

That's a good looking car in a nice color combo.  Anyone in the market for something like this,  should follow this one up.  

Of course long distance sales just became alot more expensive with the shipping involved.

Wonder if it sold.  Seems strange the OP,  would find and post it with less than 24 hours left in the ad life. 

Wonder if someone flagged  it as spam to keep others from seeing it.

I love the color on that car, and the clean condition. To me, cleanness surpasses every other positive attribute on an old car. Very cool.

The 2 door version has nothing over the 4 door. very nice looking car.

I don't know when the seller posted his ad,

but since it expired, probably a while ago.

I just happened to find it the day before it expired,

but the ad was surely on Craig's List for much more

than a single day.

 

Maybe the seller will re-advertise his car.
