He is doing a resto-mod and may be changing the steering column. https://www.thelincolnforum.net/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=53658 The 51-55 Fords use a similar switch, but it has the additional bypass for the stop lights. You may be able to make one of them work by soldering wires to the input and output terminals. The switch appears to be the same physical size.
