Original engine rebuilt by recognized Model A expert (Schwalms, Paradise, PA) and in good working order. Family owned last 50 years. $17,000. Nice looking car. I thought the phaeton was near the top of the model a heap. This one has coupe asking price!

Great buy imho.  While 28, 29 lags a tad in desirability to a 30, 31 phaeton Schwalm engine is a big plus 99% of his are upgraded to insert bearings.

Neighbor sold a seafoam green (cannot think of correct name but an attractive color, esp. On these) early 28 phaeton maybe 3 years ago, his ask was $27k.  I assume low 20s as it sold pretty quick.  Older restoration but quality cosmetics and fully sorted.

Some nits with this one, top,looks like upholstery wear, but overall pretty neat.
