58L-Y8
For Sale: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible, Auto, Low Miles, Drive Home! - $6,895 - Pittsburgh, PA 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible, Auto, Low Miles, Drive... (craigslist.org) Seller's Description: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible. Nice, clean driver where everything works as it should. I would drive this car across the country tomorrow worry free. It is a automatic with a AM/FM cassette stereo, hot heat and seat belts (yes seat belts were optional in 1963). The car looks great, but not a show car. It is a older restoration with its share of chips here and there and two holes in the top but great cruise night car or enjoyable driver OR easy restore to its showroom condition. Just turned 80,000 miles and had a recent tune up, tires, Koni shocks all around, new carpet and seats, the rest is in the new owner's hands. Gearheadengineer
Seems like a reasonable price for what you get. I don’t love the color, and I would prefer a stick. But $6k for a running and driving ragtop is pretty good. Definitely need to check for hidden rust.
JACK M
Not enough pedals. Otherwise it would already be sold.
Marty Roth
The ad should be corrected to note SIX (6) cylinders, Not 4 decent looking example, but as Gearheadengineer says, rust should be checked
avgwarhawk
Appears to be rust on the lower valance around the exhaust area. Rattle can yellow restoration on the nose. Wonder what else my be going on underneath.
