I am selling my 1968 BSA Lightning.

 

Below is a brief description:

The bike is located in Plain City, Ohio near Columbus, Ohio.

Asking price: $6,650.00 (Reasonable and serious offers will be considered). Clear Ohio title in my name.

Mileage: 11,520 as of today

Description:

I am the third owner of this mostly original BSA. I bought the BSA in 2015 with 11,500 miles. The previous owner bought the BSA in 2006. The tank, frame. and side panel paint, as well as tank badges and all decals are, per the previous owner, original and in very good to excellent condition.

Work performed by the previous owner:

1. Rebuilt engine (receipts listing work performed and CD with
photos are available)

2. New wiring harness

3. Re-chromed front fender

4. Installed chrome crash bars

5. Rebuilt Tachometer in 2006

6. Repaired center stand mount

Work I performed:

1. Replaced oil pump with new SRM pump

2. New Dunlap K tires, tubes, and flaps front and rear

3. Replaced Ammeter

4. New plug wires, condensers, and coils

5. New rear fender

6. New speedo cable

7. Changed fluids

8. Installed new rubber oil lines

Know Issues:

1. A small oil leak under engine

2. Speedo needle jumps at lower speed
