Car currently has white wall tires as seen in the first picture. Other pictures were taken a week before tires were installed. All original straight 8 with three on the tree manual with borg Warner r11 overdrive. 6v positive ground. New white wall tires, fresh rebuilt carburetor, New plug wires, runs great, shifts great . 58L-Y8 Posted February 19, 2022 Share Posted February 19, 2022 The 200 is the most basic Packard one could buy in 1951. The 288 ci eight, manual shift with overdrive makes them a nice driver. The downside, if there is one for some, is the extremely spartan interior and lack of impressive Packard look and aura. The "Packard" script nameplates are a later addition, not factory.
