Gearheadengineer
I love it. There is a typhoon for sale in my area. Much worse shape than this one. They are pretty rare. Since it includes a consul, does that make it an Ambassador? 2

plymouthcranbrook
I don’t know how rare these are but I don’t think I would want this one if it was the last one.

58L-Y8
From the Standard Catalog of Independents, Edited by Ron Kowalke: "A 232-cid six-cylinder engine was introduced in a limited number of Classic two-door hardtops beginning in late April 1964. All if these special cars were painted Solar Yellow (with black roofs) and only 2,520 were built. They had the distinctive "Typhoon" rear fender badges, in place of the regular Classic script. However, the Typhoon six-cylinder engine was also provided as a $59.95 powertrain option, in Classic 770 models." Among AMC models, the Typhoon is considered more desirable than the general run-of-the-mill Rambler Classics.
jimkf
I like it. But I like the Ambassador wagon in the background more.
