f.f.jones
1928 Chevy national convertible hotrod - $16,999 https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/littleton-1928-chevy-national/7442314028.html email: 0fbad3d4dad532c3ae6cb2f7d61e3605@sale.craigslist.org Own and drive a piece of history with this Chevrolet from 1928! Not your average Ford model A which are all over the place still. This is a chevy. Amazingly well cared for car that has been on the road for almost 95 years. Very driveable around town but honestly the top speed is about 40 mph as it sits. It has its original 4 cylinder 171 cid engine which was rebuilt. Mated up to its original 3 speed on the floor manual transmission. A 216 cid stovebolt 6 cylinder about 80hp will come with it along with extra parts including the original fenders and floor boards and windshield and owners manual. The back quarters are a custom handmade fiberglass that are perfect. All new oak framing throughout the entire car. 1928 was the first year for 4 wheel brakes. A very rare car you won't see at your local car shows. Planned to make it into a dry lake racer style hotrod and drive it in this years hotrod hill climb in Central City but the event was canceled. The car gets lots of looks and attention being a chevy and not your type Ford. Perfect for some winter wrenching just before car show season. Make yourself a rare Chevrolet hotrod.
