SOLD: A Great Small and Tall Size Running Board Tool or Battery Box From the Brass through 1920s Era

This early running board tool box is much nicer than those that you usually run across. It is made of a heavier gauge steel than most and has a fully beaded lip on the lid and box at the opening and the top has a nice curved shape. The latches and hinges are nickel plated. This box is in excellent condition with no pitting or dents and the lid closes properly and tight. It measures about  11" tall by 12" wide by 8" deep. Ready to use as-is or easily repainted. This could also make a great battery box for an early car.
