I have a friend who is a accomplished historian and author, who has published several books. She is presently assembling some historical information on McNeil Island Corrections Center, which was, until it’s closing in 2006, the only island prison left in the United States. Being a old car buff, she has asked my help in identifying the fire truck used on the institution for many years. Being a old car buff which frequents the AACA forum, and has absolutely no idea about the fire truck, any help would be appreciated.

1938-1948 Seagraves body style........it's a 66E pumper and hose wagon. Probably a 1941 unit........it has a 6 volt siren on it. So the photo is 99 percent taken before the war ended.

This is a mid-'40's Bickle-Seagrave pumper purchased new by the city of Guelph, Ontario. Bickle-Seagrave was a Canadian company in Woodstock, Ontario building Seagrave apparatus under license. From my collection of factory photos.
