9 canisters of 40-50s Dealer Promotional Film strips

Recommended Posts

Found these in an old Firestone Spark Plug box as was I going through trying to clean up the shop. There are 9 canisters w/ advertisement, promotions, and sale pitches from the early 40s to the 50s, that were used by dealers back in the day. Some are in color, but most are B & W. I think that they have been preserved fairly well in their little metal containers, although the capsules show their age. I tried to roughly scan an image just to show an example of what was on the strips. My attempt in no way shows the quality imagery or the clarity. To illustrate that fact the film strip that I tried to scan is in living color and you can see the results I had. I'm going to list these historical items as $10  a piece, or if you want them all, it will be $50. plus the postage which shouldn’t be that much.

Tag lines: Dealership materials, Car training instruction, antique auto memorabilia. Blosser's Chevrolet, Concordia, Ks. SOLD
