Guest Posted February 14, 2003 Share Posted February 14, 2003 In cleaning up the crankcase on a 1909 A Junior that I am restoring, on the lower left side of the case, I came across a stencil reading: Maxwell Briscoe New Castle Indiana It seems from this that M-B cast their cases elsewhere, probably a contract caster, and sent them to the plant of manufacture.
