WTB: 1920 Special Six valve train parts

Hello,

I am looking for a full set of valves, guides, springs, and retainers/keepers for the above engine.

 

Does anyone have advice on replacing the valve guides?  I’m still waiting on a service manual.

 Can anyone verify this fits a Special Six?

I do not have a parts manual to double check the part number he listed.

According to the parts book the big and special six took valve spring part #10000 from 1919 through 1925.( and perhaps earlier and later as I don't have those books.)

latching on to randys post, I am looking for valves for my 21 big six. I was able to get ONE from Egge and they said they couldnt get more. Im not sure thats true, but thats what they said. 

 

if anyone has any one piece valves with pin holes instead of collets I would love to get some.

Linus, while I cannot speak for Egge, they were able to make me a set of 12.  It took them about 4 weeks, which in today’s supply chain is very fast.  Hopefully they can do the same for you.
